Office Assistant/ Mgr Trainee

This position is responsible for day-to-day office administration in a growing construction company. Position is full-time, year-round, with benefits and a bonus program.

The environment is a busy, down-to-earth, dog-friendly, office & warehouse in the Mammoth Lakes Industrial Park. Most client interaction takes place by phone and e-mail. Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime as needed. Our core values are: Safety, Integrity, Quality, Reliability, Professionalism, Communication and Follow Through.

The ability to deal with change, challenging personalities and difficult situations (in a positive way) is critical for success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential. The right candidate will possess a “can do” attitude, a high aptitude and a passion for learning.

Daily responsibilities center around the following:

General Office Administration; to include bookkeeping, answering phones, filing, scheduling, cleaning, etc.

Finance; to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor and customer contracts, purchase orders, invoices, statements, late fees, budgeting, reporting, tax filings, etc.

Human Resources; to include payroll, performance reviews, benefits administration, employee handbook, etc.

Inventory; to include materials, consumables, assets, office supplies, etc.

Information Technology; to include internal IT support, employee setup, software training, etc.

Process Improvement; to include documenting existing workflows, helping to identify redundancy, etc.

Other projects, tasks, etc.: as assigned by manager.

This position currently reports to the Owner. Starting pay is DOE. Raises are based on performance. Opportunities for advancement exist. Bonus payouts are based on company performance to goals.

Sales Manager/ Mgr Trainee

Measure, manage and improve sales metrics for Electrical, General Contracting, Plumbing, HVAC, Window/ Glazing, Finish Carpentry and Drywall/ Painting divisions.

Follow-up on proposals generated by the Operations Team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Passionate, positive, “can-do” attitude is a must.

Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office, Windows 10, apps, smartphones, tablets, e-mail, etc. a must. Infusionsoft/ Keap experience a strong plus.

Qualified candidates for this position will have a good driving record, pass a criminal background check and (preferably) already have their Home Improvement Salesperson certification in California.

Ground floor opportunity with an established team of local professionals who are going places.

Hourly wage is based on skill-set and experience, job is expected to be full-time, actual availability of hours will depend primarily on the versatility, initiative and salesmanship of candidate.

Wage/ salary/ commission is negotiable, ability to generate positive results and to work with clients and the rest of the team is what counts.

Until results support a 2nd person in sales, this position will also include CSR duties (Client Service Representative) = telephone, dispatch and sales admin.
